Our Recruitment Process

A Concise Guide to our Procedures.

Each AUE colleges manages the recruitment process from need identification to job specification through to interviewing and hiring selected candidates.

Line managers are fully supported by human resources throughout the entire recruitment process and each candidate is selected based solely on merit and ability. Depending on the type of job and skills and competencies required, short listed candidates may undergo evaluation to help identify their skills and suitability.

Selected expatriate candidates will be required to complete some formalities to process their work permits and employment visas. Please refer to the ‘Visas & Procedures’ section for further information.

Upon joining, new employees are given a comprehensive induction programme on both a corporate and individual college level. The respective human resources department facilitates this induction and also familiarise employees with policies and procedures.

Line managers are responsible for ensuring that new employees settle into their roles quickly and introductions to the team and key managers are made within each respective organisation. Individual training, development and performance objectives are also agreed, monitored and evaluated on a regular basis.
